IQOO 7 Black Edition: Features and Specs Unveiled

 

IQOO is getting ready to bring a new smartphone on the market! Rumors, leaks, and other reports already hinted at a special handset edition that will surely leave us in awe.

Previously, we got a glimpse of the praised IQOO 7 BMW Edition, with some smooth edges and a white-colored rear panel. Now, new renders unveil quite the design, a black-only smartphone, indicating the standard version of the IQOO 7.

IQOO 7 Black Edition: What Should You Know

So far, we came across several leaks and teasers of the IQOO 7 that showed the rear panel in black and white with a red shade, and blue sleek stripes of the IQOO 7 BMW Edition. The recent renders, however, offer us more details so we can know what to expect from the new IQOO 7 Black Edition.  

According to the images, there is a black rear panel, believed to be the standard variant of the IQOO7. Also, there is a poster that indicates the textured pattern on the black edition.

The color difference seems now to be the only difference between the IQOO 7 BMW Edition and the black one. The upcoming smartphone might arrive with more features or other specs, but we can only hope for this. 

The triple-rear camera with the dual-LED flash can be spotted on both variants. The well-known IQOO branding is present on both versions as well, located below the camera.

Display details

The new IQOO 7 is said to flaunt a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, a fingerprint sensor, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The display will feature a punch-hole cutout in the center for the selfie shooter.

Processor and software details

Under the hood, the smartphone might house a mighty processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

IQOO 7 will ship with Android 10 OS out-of-the-box.

Camera skills

Coming to camera capabilities, the handset will reportedly sport a Sony IMX598 48MP shooter, including a 13MP depth sensor, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Battery capacity

A battery of 4,000mAh with 120W ultrafast charging support is said to keep the lights on for several hours.

Other features

The IQOO 7 Black Edition is also rumored to pack dual linear motors and dual speakers to improve the gaming experience. The smartphone will measure 8.7mm and weigh only 209 grams. 

More details about the IQOO 7 Black Edition will be soon released. The launch date is on January 11. Information about the price and availability will be also revealed.
