Fortnite Season 5 Week 5: Challenges Guide

Fortnite Season 5 Week 5 is now available and the challenges are said to be one of the toughest. They range from the normal to the odd, and some players might get some trouble. From digging up gnomes, finding an experience point coin, to the well-known damage infliction task, there are lots of things to look forward to.
If you're looking for some tips and tricks, however, here is what you need to know.

Deal Damage While Crouched: How To

This challenge involves dealing some 500 damage while crouched. The best way to do that is to arm yourself, look for a crowded place, crouch, and shot opponents.

If you know how to deal damage with Fortnite's Lever Action Rifle, the challenge is going to be easy. Also, selecting a game mode like Team Rumble, you'll be able to respawn if shot.

Collect Gnomes in Fort Crumpet and Holly Hedges

Locations: where to land

Holly Hedges is easy to spot because is south of Fort Crumpet. First, find the Christmas tree at the town's north part.

The first gnome is right in the corner beside a planter and a gate. Next, exit the Christmas tree location and go to the building that has flowers spray-painted on the wall. You'll find here the second Holly Hedges gnome.

Finally, go to the building that is opposite to the one facing the Christmas tree. There are some huge potted plants and wooden walls. You'll find another gnome right there.

Dig Up Gnomes in Pleasant Park and Fort Crumpet

Locations: where to land

Pleasant Park is situated to the northeast of Sweaty Sands and Fort Crumpet. Land in the center of the location and search for the first mound next to a small tree.

Next, go north and look for a brick house with some candy cane decorations at the front door. Your gnome will be right there!

Fort Crumpet is a bit harder to spot. The area is not marked on the map, but you can still find it. Just look for a stone structure on a hill northwest of Sweaty Sands. Enter through the east entrance, turn right, and try to walk directly towards that wall.

You'll see next, the telltale glowing mound of the first gnome. As for the second one, you can find it next to another wall, under a small, wooden bridge right in the western end of the Fort Crumpet.

The Buried Blue Coin in Retail Row

You'll find the blue coin buried (obviously) in the backyard of the yellow house in the southwest part of Retail Row. Also, search for a mound of dirt that has blue electricity emanating.

Next, attack that mound and the blue XP coin will pop-up.

The Fortnite experience is available for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
