Tesla's Full Self-Driving Software Now $4,000 Cheaper!

 

Over the course of several years, regulators have been examining the driver assistance systems that Tesla has developed. Despite its title, Full Self-Driving is not intended to replace a human driver at this point in time completely. But there's great news: Tesla has just dropped the cost of its Full Self-Driving software in both the United States and Canada. The program now costs $8,000 in the United States and $11,000 in Canada. This package is available for current owners who are able to upgrade to FSD for a fee of $2,000.

Introducing the New Price for Full Self-Driving (FSD) Capability


Recently announced via X by the company, the Full Self-Driving (FSD) Capability may now be added to a vehicle for a price of $8,000 in the United States of America or $11,000 in Canada. Several days ago, Tesla reduced the fee per month of its subscription for FSD. The most recent price reduction comes just a few days after Tesla made this pricing reduction. Previously, the subscription was priced at $199 per month.

It was claimed that the corporation implemented a directive back in March that required its employees to provide buyers with an overview of FSD before they were allowed to take their new cars home. This was done so that the buyers could get a better understanding of what the software had to offer. Additionally, Tesla reduced the beginning pricing of its Model Y, S, and X automobiles by a total of $2,000 over the course of this weekend. There was a reduction of eight percent year-over-year in the number of vehicles that Tesla delivered during the first quarter of 2024, according to a report that was released earlier this month by Tesla.
